The Pennsylvania based band Every Other Sunday is comprised of father and son John C. Corrado (drums, keys, vocals) and John R (vocals, bass, guitar). Joining them to round out the band is, Brendan Ruanne (guitar, cowbell, vibraslap) and Craig Anderson (guitar, backing vocals).
While the band is known for their eclectic shows that blend modern and classic, rock, pop, punk, reggae and blues
their debut single, “Ghost,” goes in an alt-rock direction with dark vocals dealing with a broken relationship that has left the person in a bad way in their life.
I like the vocal breaks that the song features almost like its over or stopped playing before the vocals spring back to
life. It’s almost like a bad relationship that ends and there’s a period of time before the next one starts. There’s also a nice little lively guitar solo found in, “Ghost,” that keeps it from getting too dark.
You can listen to, “Ghost,” and several other tracks from the band at their Soundcloud page.
