2018 D-1 NCAA College Softball Playoffs

Once again the SEC has gotten all 13 teams in to the tournament. The PAC-12 has also made a strong showing including the number one overall seed Oregon and six other conference teams.

This year includes four newcomers to the tourney, Boise State University, Kennesaw State University, Monmouth University, and Prairie View A&M University.

The heartbreak award goes to Pittsburgh the first team not to make the list. Pitt had the automatic bid in their hands before losing to Florida State in the ACC Conference Championship game.
