2019 Big 12 Softball TV schedule revealed

The Big 12 and the league’s television rights-holders, ESPN and FOX Sports, have announced the 2019 Big 12 softball telecast schedule.

Seven regular season games will be featured in addition to seven games of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship. All games will showcase conference matchups.

Coverage will begin with Oklahoma State at Baylor on Sunday, March 24 in a 3 p.m. CT contest on ESPN2. The Cowgirls and Bears are both coming off NCAA Regional appearances a year ago. 2018 Women’s College World Series participant Oklahoma and regional qualifier Texas will also be featured in the telecasts. ESPN and ESPN2 will each televise two regular season games, while two will be featured on FOX Sports Regional Networks (FSN) and one on FS1.

The 2019 Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship pool play games will be played at USA Hall of Fame Stadium. The event will take place May 10-11 in Oklahoma City with the final contest televised on FS2 at 4 p.m. CT on May 11. The telecast schedule for the remaining six Championship games will be announced at a later date. All televised games will also be available via the ESPN app or FOX Sports app.

The Big 12 softball season begins Thursday, February 7 and conference play opens on Friday, March 22.
