Country artist Phil releases, ‘Me N My Guitar’ single

For Immediate Release

‘Me N My Guitar’ in Digital Stores now.

PHIL (Philipe Schizas), is a country singer/songwriter hailing from Melbourne, Australia. A lone wolf at heart, he’s wiser than most as he writes with his vices out in front. Latest single Me N My Guitar takes on the classicism of country rock with a gruff take on heartbreak.

Co-written with Australian-born, Nashville-based Corey Gilchrist, PHIL’s single carries the the grit of Jason Aldean, the charm of Chris Stapleton and the traditionalism of Jon Pardi, and yet is developing a style that remains distinct to him.

Just 3 years ago, he bought his first guitar and started teaching himself to play. Committed to his calling, Phil began travelling to Nashville TN to write and perform and now regularly splits his time performing in both Melbourne and Nashville.

Phil has collaborated extensively, road-testing his songs, his performance at Leongatha Country Music Festival in 2018 confirming that, even acoustically, Me N My Guitar is a crowd pleaser. The worldly themes of heartbreak, the bottle and a personal vehicle of self- expression proving yet again to resonate deeply.

Taking in the posituve feedback, PHIL sought the talents of young guitarist and producer Bailey Judd to amplify the sensibilities of Me N My Guitar. The resulting single is filled sorrow soaked with 100-proof and guitars that scrub at the regret.

Now with an abundance of songs to his name, PHIL continues to write and produce new music with plans to release an EP late 2019 and a series of performance in Nashville with just him and his guitar.
