“Creation’s Song” From Janet Blair’s Debut, ‘Songs for the Waiting’

A classically trained pianist and symphonic oboist turned Nashville-produced singer-songwriter Janet Blair’s new single, ‘Creation’s Song,’ is an up-tempo piano driven worship track that’s filled with power vocals. The track is taken from her upcoming debut release, “Songs for the Waiting,” due out April 7th.

“Listen to “Creation’s Song”

Blair’s life took a radical change after the unexpected death of a friend’s child. She recalls, “I was overwhelmed with hopelessness, when at 2 AM when God reminded me of where my hope is. He gave me a song. So I got out of bed, sat down at my piano and I wrote it out – my unexpected, unasked-for first song.”

The entire album is filled with songs that offer up lyrics of hope and finding God’s love in the midst of sorrowful times set to styles ranging from worship to pop. “Eternity Grows,” even has an electro under current that runs throughout it.

“All My Reasons Are You” lyrics

I breathe, because you give me Breath.
I walk, because you are my step.
I sing, because you are the melody.
And I am, because you say that I am.
Could it be that,

You’re the reason I live,
The reason I love.
The reason I always have enough.
You’re the reason I laugh,
The reason I smile,
The reason I’m standing all the while.
You’re the reason for everything I do.
Oh, it’s true. All my reasons are you.

You are the meaning of it all,
You speak, and make the nations fall.
You dance, and all creation moves with praise,
You are faith, you are hope, you are light,
You are grace, and…

You’re the reason I live,
The reason I love.
The reason I always have enough.
You’re the reason I laugh,
The reason I smile,
The reason I’m standing all the while.
You’re the reason for everything I do.
Oh, it’s true. All my reasons are you.

We both know that I’m lost without you,
Oh, I wanna be so about you,
Every minute I want to shout just so that everybody knows…
You’re the reason I live,
The reason I love.
The reason I always have enough.
You’re the reason I laugh,
The reason I smile,
The reason I’m standing all the while.
You’re the reason for everything I do.
Oh, it’s true. All my reasons are you.

You’re the reason for everything I do.
It’s true, all my reasons are you.
Oh yes, all my reasons are you.

North Point InsideOut to Release New EP Nothing Ordinary April 7th

Nashville, Tenn. (March 2017) —- North Point InsideOut will release its first project for Centricity Music on April 7th.

Nothing Ordinary will feature five songs that were written and performed by North Point InsideOut worship leaders,
musicians and songwriters. The first single, “Death Was Arrested,” is already having a powerful impact at Christian radio.

“Finally, a worship song that has movement, tempo and a story about a love that will never leave you or forsake you,” said Rodney Miller, Assistant Program Director, The Fish LA. “Listeners will instantly remember the day they first heard, ‘Death Was Arrested,’ as the powerful song will have an impact in their own lives.”

The concept for “Death Was Arrested” came from North Point drummer, Brandon Coker, after seeing a tombstone while visiting his uncle in St. Mary’s, Ga. It partially said, “Death arrested his progress.” It was two and a half years later when the tune came to fruition at a North Point student camp where several InsideOut band members, including Coker, were tossing around ideas for songs. They were focusing on making freedom, beauty, and grace the theme to weave throughout “Death Was Arrested.” With powerful lyrics, Alone in my sorrow dead in my sin/Lost without hope with no place to begin/Your love made a way to let mercy come in/When death was arrested and my life began, the song immediately resonates with listeners and has been recorded by such major artists as Laura Story and Aaron Shust.

North Point InsideOut is a division of North Point Ministries, and the church will host a major music event in their hometown of Atlanta, Ga. at the Infinite Energy Arena (formerly Gwinnett Center) on March 26. It will be an early launch for Nothing Ordinary, with 10,000 people invited to the concert. Tickets are now on sale for the event and can be purchased at http://www.infiniteenergycenter.com.

Aaron Shust to Release First Live Album ‘Love Made A Way’

aaronshustlovemadeaway
First Single “You Redeem” Going for Adds at Radio

Nashville, Tenn. (Feb. 2017) – Even with twelve years as a successful Christian music artist under his belt, Aaron Shust takes on new territory with his latest project: his first live album. Shust’s new record for Centricity Music, Love Made A Way, is scheduled for release March 10. Working with producer Nathan Nockels (Matt Redmond, Chris Tomlin), Shust delivers both familiar worship anthems and powerful new songs in the 11-song collection. This includes Shust’s latest single “You Redeem,” which is currently top 40 at Christian Radio and rising. The single garnered 12 out of the box adds from WRBS Baltimore, MD , KLJY St. Louis, MO, SOS Network, Fish Portland, OR, Word FM Network, WCLN Fayetteville, NC, WHPZ South Bend, IN, KCVO Columbia, MO, WJTL Lancaster, PA, WCHR Hagerstown, MD, WLJN Traverse City, MI, and KYCC Stockton, CA. The song’s performance video gives an early sample of what Shust’s record showcases – his special ability to engage others in genuine, meaningful worship. This spirit of worship is the heart of the recording and Shust’s passion.

“I’ve always said that in a concert setting I want people to worship, so to have people singing along on the album is pretty magnificent,” Shust says. “When I invited people to be a part of this live album recording, I wanted to make sure they wanted to worship. I didn’t just want them to be spectators. I wanted them to be desirous of entering into the presence of God, raising their hands and closing their eyes if they wanted to, and that’s how the night was. It was a genuine experience of worship.”

For Love Made A Way, Shust features vocalists such as Matt Hammitt, Christy Nockels, Grayson|Reed’s Molly Reed and For All Season’s Emily Hamilton on the album. Listeners will recognize classic praise songs such as “Ever Be,” “Cornerstone” and Shust’s career staple “My Savior My God,” but they’ll hear them performed like never before— an intentional decision from Shust.

“This was a chance to take some of the songs we play live every night and freshen up the recordings,” he says. “But I also wanted to write new songs and offer new thoughts, new praises and new worship.”

These new songs came from Shust’s inspiration to write bold music celebrating the Lord and proclaiming His strength. This is seen in the declaration of God’s power to turn trials into blessings in “You Redeem,” as well as the humble trust of God’s promise to guide in “Lead On (King Eternal).” All of the songs reflect Shust’s desire to lead worship for a worthy, unfailing God. While this radiates throughout all the music of the singer-songwriter’s decade-long career, Love Made A Way delivers the message in a captivating way that will connect with listeners from start to finish. For Shust, it’s been a challenging adventure worth pursuing.

“Hitting the 10-year mark, it felt like a new season,” Shust says of deciding to take the plunge and create the live album. “We had a guest speaker recently at our church talk about how God is a God of celebration. God wanted to make sure His people were able to remember and celebrate their past. I felt that after 10 years, it was time to celebrate.”

Shust is preparing for his “Love Made A Way” release tour, beginning in March. For more information about Shust, http://www.aaronshust.com and http://www.facebook.com/aaronshust.

The Lasting Hope’s new single, “Stars in the Morning”

thelastinghopevandals
Look for a New EP coming digitally everywhere soon!

Song explanation- Our new song “Stars in the Morning” is about the comfort we have knowing that God is in control even when we can’t see his plan. The stars are still in the sky even in the morning when we are unable to view them. God is always working in our lives and will reveal his plan in His perfect timing.

The Lasting Hope is a band from southern Indiana with a desire to reach this generation with the Gospel through not only their music, but their lives. The Lasting Hope was formed in 2010 by Logan Oakes (Lead Vocals/Guitar) and Craig Banister (Guitar).

The band started leading worship at local churches that year which provided valuable experience. For the next few years, The Lasting Hope would continue to progress and continue to spread their ministry. The band later added Tanner Marling on bass and Braxton Comer on drums.

In 2013 the band headed into the studio with Mark Lee Townsend (former guitarist of DC Talk, Producer for Relient K, Owl City, House of Heroes, The Wedding, and more). The Lasting Hope released their first single in October of 2013. The band released their first EP in 2014 titled ‘Sunsets & Second Chances’. This EP featured two singles, “Something New” and “Lifeline.” Both songs found their way onto the Billboard Christian Rock Radio Airplay chart. “Something New” peaked at #5 in September of 2014 and “Lifeline” reached #20 in April of 2015.

The band played over 60 shows in 2014 throughout the midwest, where they developed their engaging and high energy stage show. In 2015, the band entered the studio once again with Mark Lee Townsend to work on new material. The band picked up their touring schedule heavily in 2015 playing nearly 100 shows (booked solely by lead singer Logan Oakes) across the country.

The Lasting Hope has had the opportunity to open for artists such as, Toby Mac, Mandisa, Ryan Stevenson, 7eventh Time Down, Hawk Nelson, Switchfoot, Mercy Me, Colton Dixon, and more. The band released their second EP, ‘Vandals’, in February of 2016. The Lasting Hope continued crafting their sound and in April of 2016, entered the studio with Jarrod Ingram and Blake Hubbard, formally of Royal Tailor. Through this process, the band has created a fresh pop/rock sound that is current and suitable for radio.
