Pitcher of the Week 10
Rachel Garcia – UCLA – Pitcher
Garcia done it both with her pitching skills last week going 2-0 with 20 strikeouts and 1.24 ERA. She was also hot with her bat hitting three home runs to help propel UCLA to three wins over Arizona (7-6, 7-3, 10-3). In Friday’s game Garcia got her first-career two-home run game. She had 6 hits, 7 RBI’s and had a .857 batting average.
Player of the Week 10
Mia Davidson – Mississippi State – Catcher/Infielder
Davidson helped Mississippi State going 3-1 by registering eight hits (two home runs), five RBIs with a .800 on-base hitting percentage. Davidson got her 15th home run of the season Monday night which is tops in the SEC.
Pitcher of the Week #9
Miranda Elish – Oregon – Pitcher
Oregon is stacked with several aces and Miranda Elish is one of those making up their great pitching staff. Last week Elish went 4-0 with an ERA of 0.00 in her 14 innings of pitching. She allowed only three hits while striking out 31 batters. She also threw the first seven-inning perfect game in Oregon softball history along with a career-high 16 strikeouts against Portland State.

Kenzi Maguire – South Carolina – Infielder
The Redshirt Sophomore hit for a .500 BA this past week with seven hits, three runs scored and two RBI’s. She also posted a 1.000 fielding percentage at shortstop helping South Carolina to take their series with fellow SEC foe Arkansas.

Gisellel ‘G’ Juarez – Arizona State- Left Handed Pitcher
Thanks a lot to the pitching of Gisellel ‘G’ Juarez Arizona State has been making its presence known in the PAC 12. This past week she went 2-0 with wins over BYU 7-0 and North Dakota State 9-1 with 12.0 IP, 20 K, 0.58 ERA. She also pitched the 30th no-hitter in ASU softball history Friday night against BYU.

Justice Milz – Georgia – Infielder
Milz got four hits, three of which were home runs, in the teams recent series against Tennessee. She went 6-13 in the series with a total of eight RBIs.
Pitcher of the Week #7
Brooke Bolinger – Texas – Pitcher
This week’s pick for, ‘Pitcher of the Week,’ is Texas junior Brooke Bolinger. She had a big part in Texas being able to sweep Kansas this past weekend to get Texas off to a perfect 3-0 start in Big 12 Conference play. Bolinger went 2-0, adding 10 strikeouts to her team-leading 61 along with a 0.00 ERA.

Tiara Duffy – South Carolina – Outfielder
South Carolina completed its fifth ever sweep over Tennessee this past weekend thanks to both strong pitching and hitting. One of those leading the hitting side was senior outfielder Tiara Duffy who batted .625 with three runs scored and four RBI’s including two home runs.
Player of the Week #6
Giorgiana Zeremenko – Catcher- University of Pittsburgh
Zeremenko put up strong numbers in Pitt’s three-game series against North Carolina finishing the weekend with a .700 batting average, that included six extra-base hits, three home runs and three doubles. Defensively, she caught all three games for Pitt, picking off a runner and catching one stealing.

Caylan Arnold – Pitcher – Tennessee
The right handed sophomore pitcher has been a big part of the Lady Vols early success. She is a perfect 13-0 so far this season helping the team to an impressive 30-1 record. Arnold went 2-0 with 21 strikeouts in her five appearance at the Rainbow Wahine Classic. She also picked up two saves for the week. Arnold also leads the SEC with 137 strikeouts on the year with 21 of them coming in this past week of action.
